About the job
As Business Development Specialist, you will support in the development and implementation of strategic business plans aligned with organizational objectives, derived from in-depth research and financial modeling. You will facilitate effective communication and collaboration, track project execution, and proactively propose improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency and productivity. The role reports to the Head of Planning & Business Development and is located in Solna, Stockholm.
- Drive the creation and refinement of detailed mid- and long-term business plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and considering unique market requirements
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement robust tracking mechanisms to assess and enhance business performance
- Conduct in-depth research and trend analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential risks, providing valuable insights on competitor activities to management for informed decision-making
- Develop forecasts and complex financial models to provide accurate insights, supporting strategic decision-making and resource allocation
- Arrange and coordinate efficient business meetings, prepare materials, and conduct internal briefings to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Track projects, collaborate with relevant departments, and follow up to ensure the successful execution and delivery of project targets
- Identify potential areas for business improvement, optimize processes, and implement enhanced workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Take a leadership role in driving future projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with business objectives
Required education, experience, and skills
- 2+ years' experience in roles related to business strategy or planning, preferably in the automotive industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategic Management, or a related field
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
- General understanding of the dynamics in the Swedish automotive market and customer needs
- Proficient in conducting market research and competitive analysis, translating findings into actionable insights and recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Project management experience with the ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects beneficial
