Job Purpose

 

  • Responsible for improvement in the financial performance of the bottom quartile and monitoring the balance sheet strength of the dealer network within the allocated Region.
  • Responsible for the Core composite submission of the dealer network within the allocated Region.
  • Supporting with for the necessary due diligence required in the appointment of New Dealers as defined by the National Franchise Manager (NFM). 

Key Responsibilites

 

  • Develop Business plans to assess the viability of new operations and prospects for the franchise.
  • Act as the key relationship manager between HMUK and the composite providers optimising the results and ensuring full compliance by the Dealer Network.
  • Identify and champion the dealership opportunities for improved performance and share team best practice in all areas of activity.
  • Liaise with HCF and Dealer Credit Meetings.
  • Manage HMUK exposure at credit risk dealers.
  • Coach fellow team members in developing their knowledge of the composite.
  • Develop dealer profitability specifically in new car and parts activities through the identification of best practice and its development into training modules for Dealers and colleagues.
  • Develop dealer resilience specifically in used car and after sales activities through the effective management of the USA programme within the allocated region.
  • Support the HMUK Balanced Scorecard programme by validating the monthly output.
  • Support the NFM and RBM’s in the implementation of the HMUK network development plan.
  • Support the ongoing development of the franchise standards and dealer margin reviews working with other members of the Regional and HMUK team.
  • Minimise at risk dealers to ensure minimum financial exposure to Hyundai.

About You

 

  • Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant 
  • Motor Trade experience preferred
  • Experienced in the development of Business Plans.
  • Profit accountable, commercially aware.
  • Self-motivated high levels of drive, disciplined, well organised with good attention to detail.
  • Experienced in franchising and network development.
  • Full understanding of modern dealership operations.
  • Team player.
