As the Brand Experience Specialist at Hyundai UK, you’ll be responsible for supporting initiatives aimed at building and strengthening our brand vision: progress for humanity. Marketing at Hyundai starts with our progressive products and ends with our inspired and delighted customers. As the Brand Experience Specialist, you’ll bring together with physical manifestation of Hyundai through events, partnerships and sponsorships. As an innate people connector with fastidious attention to detail and quality, you’ll work to ensure that all customer facing activations deliver an exceptional and memorable experience in order to drive brand appeal and consideration. 

The Day to Day:


Lead Hyundai’s events and experiences. Lead the planning, development, execution and reporting of Hyundai events in the UK, supported by a number of agency partners. The events should bring to life the progressive nature of the Hyundai brand through engaging, inviting, and professional brand experiences. These vary from major activations at automotive shows such as Goodwood Festival of Speed, Fully Charged and the EV show, to wider activations including experiential in major city centres. 

Manage local partnerships and sponsorships. Proactively manage Hyundai’s partnerships with organisations such as Tate, FIFA and Healthy Seas to align activity, messaging and Hyundai Brand Identity to drive maximum reach and consumer engagement across all channels. 

Lead / support various internal-facing events. With the wider internal teams, develop events for internal staff and dealers. Organise the annual Dealer Conference and Business Briefing. Foster and manage relationships with agency and production partners to bring projects to fruition.

Coordinate the proper financial and legal approval processes. This will be key responsibility of the role, and will require the ability to work and influence key stakeholders in the business to keep multiple projects on time and in budget in parallel. 

Coordinate the reporting requirements. Understand the HMUK brand and commercial objectives and track the ROI performance of activities against these KPIs. Work with the Head of Brand Communications to evaluate successes and arrive at key recommendations for future. 

Proactively investigate new partner and sponsorship ideas for the business. Curiously seek out relationships for the experiential launches of all new models, with a particular focus on electrified powertrains. Monitor competitive events to ensure Hyundai is embracing the latest industry trends and opportunities. 

About you:


  • 2+ years’ marketing experience with a broad understanding the marketing channel mix
  • 2+ years’ event management and/or project management experience 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Budget management and cost control skills
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced work environments with an ability to pivot quickly with moving priorities 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exemplary organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise 
  • Ambitious, with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to find innovative solutions to challenges
  • Agency management experience
  • Innate people connector with Customer Service / Business Development experience
  • A positive track record of building strong partnerships in and outside the business
  • Analytically minded with a good understanding of data
  • Creative flair, with an ability to review assets and act confidently as the brand guardian  
  • Passion for cars with a broad understanding automotive market place
