Purpose of the Job

Plan and implement sales to specific, existing major accounts where growing relationships, identifying opportunities, and utilizing account management skills are critical. Accounts frequently have multiple buying locations (internationally in the case of global strategic accounts), making the process of establishing and maintaining broad client relationships essential. The role requires full knowledge of the product line and its applications, along with a strong understanding of the client's objectives and challenges.

Role Summary:

As our Regional Market Manager (m/w/d), you will be responsible for delivering the commercial success of multiple European markets, ensuring the achievement of sales, profitability, and overall P&L performance. Working across both the European headquarters and market teams, you will translate business strategies into market actions, strengthen dealer performance and develop solutions with market counterparts to make objectives possible, driving sustainable growth in both new and existing markets.

We want you to:

•    Drive monthly commercial performance across multiple new and existing markets, ensuring achievement of wholesale, retail sales, and profitability targets.
•    Lead business reviews with market teams, assessing performance, identifying gaps, and drive corrective actions aligned with strategic objectives.
•    Partner with market teams to develop and implement solutions to complex commercial challenges, enabling markets to achieve their objectives and capitalize on growth opportunities.
•    Ensure cross-functional execution with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, product, and dealer network teams to address market needs and maximize business opportunities. 
•    Lead target setting processes with markets, including business plans, operational plans, budgets, and performance agreements.
•    Support the development of mid-term market strategies by assessing growth opportunities, market potential, and future product portfolio requirements.
•    Analyze sales performance, market trends, competitors and dealer network effectiveness to identify opportunities and recommend counter actions to improve commercial results.
•    Manage forecasts, reporting, and performance reviews to provide management with transparent insights and support informed decision-making.

About you:

•    Minimum of 8-10 years progressive experience in sales, business development, or market management within automotive at an OEM or distributor.
•    Proven track record of managing commercial performance, achieving sales targets, and supporting business growth across multiple markets.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market data into actionable business recommendations.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt communication to different audiences and influence across functions.
•    Strong project management skills with an entrepreneurial, results/oriented mindset and the ability to coordinate resources effectively.
•    Strong intercultural awareness and ability to collaborate independently within an international, matrix organization.
•    Able to travel to develop market expertise and foster long term relationships.
•    Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
