Role Summary:


As Head of Business Strategy (m/w/d), you shape and drive the mid- to long-term regional strategy for Genesis Motor Europe, translating global ambition into clear, executable priorities across Europe’s diverse markets. Acting as the strategic bridge between Global HQ, the European region, and shared Genesis functions within Hyundai Motor Europe, you ensure alignment while balancing premium brand aspiration with regulatory, commercial, and dealer realities.

We want you to:

  • Define and continuously refine the European mid- and long-term business strategy, aligned with Global HQ and tailored to regional market dynamics.
  • Lead regional strategic planning cycles, including market segmentation, country prioritization, scenario planning, and resource allocation.
  • Translate global strategic frameworks into clear regional priorities, roadmaps, KPIs, and investment cases for senior leadership.
  • Drive dealer network and development strategies, focusing on performance uplift, capability development, and consistent premium customer experience.
  • Ensure regional strategies are pragmatic, economically viable, and executable across heterogeneous European markets.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to convert strategy into coordinated execution plans.
  • Monitor execution of strategic initiatives, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions with regional and local teams.
  • Act as the primary strategic interface between Global HQ and European markets, ensuring strong top-down and bottom-up alignment.

About you:

  • Proven experience leading or co-leading regional (multi-country) business strategy in Europe or similarly complex regions.
  • Strong background in dealer / retail network strategy, sales planning, marketing, product, or network development.
  • Deep understanding of European premium automotive markets, dealer economics, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable results in market-facing environments.
  • Confident influencer with experience working across HQ–region–market operating models and cross-functional organizations.
  • Strategic, structured, and pragmatic mindset with high tolerance for complexity.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and executive communication skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
