Role Summary:

As the Design Strategist (m/w/d), you play a pivotal role in translating the brand vision into compelling, integrated creative strategies—from initial concept and pitch through to execution and rollout. Working at the intersection of design, marketing, and brand storytelling, you ensure strategic clarity, creative consistency, and design excellence across all touchpoints. In close collaboration with Brand Creative, Design Center, Motorsport, and Marketing teams, you act as a key connector, bringing ideas to life through impactful narratives and scalable visual systems that elevate the brand across products, campaigns, and experiences.

We want you to:

  • Responsible for driving the development of innovative design concepts by applying strong design principles, industry workflows, and creative methodologies, translating strategic insights into clear concept directions, visual narratives, and storyboards.
  • Responsible for translating brand and business strategy into scalable visual and narrative systems across product, communication, events, launches, activations, and brand experiences.
  • Acting as the strategic liaison between design, marketing, social media, motorsport, and global teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Accountable for translating approved strategies into actionable initiatives, including strategic playbooks, production guidelines, creative pitches, and the development of key brand assets and concepts.
  • Supervising ongoing creative projects to ensure consistency, strategic integrity, and high-quality execution while providing teams with direction, feedback, and autonomy.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting compelling pitch decks, presentations, and visual materials that communicate design ideas clearly and persuasively to leadership, internal partners, and external agencies.
  • Contributing to a strong creative culture by actively participating in discussions, providing well-reasoned design perspectives, solving challenges creatively, taking initiative in advancing ideas, and bridging brand thinking with industrial/automotive design and motorsport disciplines.

About you:

  • Strong background in brand, industrial, or product design.
  • Prior experience in a car design center or creative agency.
  • Experience shaping lifestyle, automotive, or culture-driven brands.
  • Proven ability to lead creatively while remaining hands-on in execution.
  • Experience in content production from concept through execution.
  • Confident communicator in English (German and Korean are a plus).Fluency in English, German and /or Korean helpful
  • Strong business acumen combined with analytical and creative thinking; experienced in brand partnerships, licensing, and translating strategy into impactful design outcomes.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and execution-driven, with strong ownership and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator and storyteller, able to present and sell ideas effectively while collaborating across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Deep sensitivity to aesthetics, storytelling, and cultural trends, with proficiency in design tools (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Figma, Blender) and an interest in AI-driven creative technologies.
