Summary:
We are currently looking for a Quality and Field Engineer (m/f/d)
As a Genesis Quality and Field Engineer, you will develop and implement procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the quality of products in accordance with the company's standards. During the preparation of reports, you will collect and analyze claim information and quality issues and will establish improvement measures to prevent quality related problems. Lastly, you will secure thoroughness and quality through periodic vehicle inspections and on-site investigation on completed work to increase customer satisfaction.
We want you to:
- Communicate with and provide expertise to local markets for quality and quality system topics
- Communicate and facilitate developments of solutions and updates
- Investigate customer quality requests
- Identify and analyze manufacturing processes and field related root cause analysis
- Monitor quality issues on daily base and enhance quality improvement
- Be responsible for Quality Management and systems through the technical hotline
- Specific vehicle inspections, inspection process development, equipment, systems, and document control
- Lead the investigation of non-conformance, working with supplier and technical staff to provide quick resolution and establishing corrective actions preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence
- Lead and manage RDSP (Remote Diagnosis Service Platform) project with early detection and resolution of issues
- Lead thermal incident investigation
- Provide Technical support for the Genesis event vehicles (PETD, NTD, GSO and etc)
- Sustain the Genesis Quality Management System
- Create and maintain vehicle inspection and supplier inspection standards
- Develop plans and strategies that support division policies and business plans
- Ensure project milestone management with follow-up and next steps
- Follow-up on shop activities and support countermeasure development when projects, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or plans fall behind
About you:
- University Degree in Engineering or technical field, or Certified Quality Engineer
- 5 years of professional-level automotive experience, preferably in the service and/or technician areas
- Experience in strategic planning, project management and consensus building
- Experience in High Voltage diagnosis
- Strong understanding of market requirements and correct operational set-up
- Strong collaboration skills, team work and results-driven mindset
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Desire to work for a fast-paced, multi-cultural and result-oriented company
- Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
- Fluency in English; any other language is an advantage
