Marketing & Sports Events Manager (m/w/d)
Job Description

We want you to:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communications campaigns across all channels to drive sales and brand performance.
  • Lead planning and execution of major brand events (e.g. new product launches, motorsports activations at Le Mans, SPA, Imola) and sports marketing initiatives (e.g. Genesis Scottish Open).
  • Develop and implement European event and sports marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with global brand positioning and regional priorities.
  • Manage and coordinate external agencies, suppliers, and partners, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (PR, digital, social, creative) to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
  • Utilize sports marketing to communicate brand values, identify storytelling opportunities, and activate consumer-centric promotions.
  • Develop tactical marketing campaigns to support operational business goals.
  • Track event KPIs, analyze ROI, and drive continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness.
  • Monitor and manage marketing budgets, reporting variances and ensuring financial discipline.
  • Evaluate sponsorship proposals, athlete partnerships, and drive innovation in event activations.
  • Ensure optimal coordination of vehicle sourcing, logistics, and operational flows for event execution.
  • Oversee performance management of team members or external partners as needed.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of professional experience in event or motorsports-related marketing (e.g. WEC, F1, WRC, golf sponsorship).
  • Proven expertise in delivering large-scale events, with a strong background in guest logistics, hospitality, and guest journey management.
  • Solid experience in budget management and day-to-day coordination with external agencies.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word—essential for organizing major sports marketing events with agency partners.
  • Familiarity with creative review processes and rendering tools (optional, but a plus).
